Why not get out and about on January weekends with free bus journeys from Kinchbus between 10am and 11am on Sundays?

Our free ride Sunday is the perfect way to kick start the New Year are the festivities. Every Sunday in January all Kinchbus services across the network will be free to use for everybody. 

There's no small print - just hop on Kinchbus 2, Kinchbus 9, Kinchbus 12, skylink Derby or sprint between 10am and 11am on the 13, 20 and 27 January and there is no fare to pay whatsoever. 

Jordan Kemp, Kinchbus marketing and communications manager, said: "After the indulgences and spending in December, free ride Sunday is the perfect antidote. It's also a great time to make a new start - and that can include taking back your Sundays from the sofa. 

"So, if you're planning on getting out to visit friends and family, eat somewhere new, grab some bargains in the sales, or going for a peaceful stroll in the peaks, we'll be going your way. 

"There is always lots going on for the thousands of passengers who will be travelling for free on Sunday mornings."

Lisa Brown, manager at Love Loughborough BID, said: "This is such a fantastic campaign to encourage visitors to Loughborough in what is a very difficult time of the year for retail and town centres.

"Loughborough can offer a wealth of activities on a Sunday for all ages including a visit to the cinema, family fun at Break Escape and Hour Escape, a trip on Great Central's steam trains or a chance to enjoy leisure pursuits in Queens Park or Charnwood Leisure Centre. 

"Why not take advantage of the free bus and have a great day out combining a spot of retail therapy with a lunch or a coffee break."
