From Sunday 2 October, we will be making some changes to the skylink Derby route and skylink Nottingham timetable.
The changes are as follows:
skylink Derby | All journeys will run via Kegworth. Long Whatton and Diseworth will no longer be served, although skylink Nottingham will run via Diseworth to EMA from Coalville.
skylink Nottingham | East Midlands Gateway to Loughborough journeys will be withdrawn. Evening journeys to and from Coalville after 8pm will be withdrawn.
We regret having to make these changes, but in order to continue to deliver our other services we cannot afford to absorb the losses made by routes which simply do not carry suffcient customers.
The silver lining in what were very diffcult decisions is the drivers currently engaged on our affected routes can be put onto our other services, which will mean much fewer cancellations and a significantly improved reliability.
